At Wild Garden Studio we believe gardens are powerful spaces and a perfect opportunity to positively impact the current biodiversity crisis. Connecting with these spaces allow us to improve our health, benefit the environment and help reverse the biodiversity declines the world is facing.
Our goal is to empower people to strengthen their connection with nature through the garden and in doing so incorporating a variety of habitats that can fulfil both aesthetic and ecological requirements.
During the Garden Design process, we integrate our clients’ needs with nature- based design, so gardens are both beautiful and play their part in environmental recovery.
The design process is a collaboration between Jonathan and Katy, who combines creativity, imagination, practicality, horticulture and science. This means we create spaces which are peaceful, wild and sit well within the ecological landscape.

With a masters in horticulture (RHS) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and the Professional Garden Consultants Association, Jonathan brings his passion for encouraging nature into our gardens. He carefully guides clients through the process of ecological restoration, creating naturalistic, organic gardens.

Having graduated from Falmouth University with a degree in Illustration, Katy went on to further study Horticulture & Garden Design while gaining practical experience in a local plant nursery. Her creative approach and passion for plants is key within our design practice, and her hand drawn illustrations help express the feel and form of a garden during the design process.
